Math-Stat Wiki for discussion among AU's Math-Stat faculty.

Topics under discussion might include:

  • What clear and appropriate objectives should we have for each course?
  • What teaching methods will best meet each objective?
  • What assessments will fairly and accurately measure how well each student meets each objective?

Please add links to courses you are interested in discussing:

Wikis generally encourage users to add or change the content of pages. This site is no different, but you must have an account to edit any page, or to view any page except this page or the login page. To get an account, please send an email request to carver@american.edu (from your american.edu email address) indicating your name, and desired user name. The server will end you a random password which you can change. To leave the discussion private accounts will only be given to math-stat faculty. If there is a compelling reason for a different policy let Sean know.

Like Wikipedia each page has a Main page for content and a discussion page for discussion.
